The Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) marks the official start of its new education system with the release of the first content module, a major milestone in transforming the actuarial education landscape in Canada.
CIA members are creative in a number of ways, with some even expressing themselves through visual art. One of these individuals is Haris Sardar, FCIA, who joins us on this episode to discuss his successful sideline as a painter and to share some of the inspiration behind his impressive works.
The CIA is embarking on the most substantial changes yet to our qualification system, which will offer new and varied ways to achieve membership in the Institute. Joining us to discuss our exciting new direction is Alicia Rollo, Director of Education and International Affairs at the CIA.
